Vehicle Overview
Exterior: Nice paintwork in white showing a little age, but no corrosion or bubbles. Very authentic XK 120 look with original steel rims and wheel spats in the back. If you change for chrome spoke wheels, it is not possible to fit the wheel spats. Good soft-top in burgundy. This is a car that looks absolutely stunning coming down the road. Underneath the Jaguar XK 120 is in great condition and no corrosion to be seen. Still with those beautiful original headlights up front.
Interior: If you like an old Jaguar to be original and have a bit of patina, this is the perfect car for you. The leather is beautiful. Instruments look great and there is even an old original radio fitted in the wooden dashboard. Soft top is nice looking and surprisingly easy to fold up and down due to the spring construction.
Engine: The Jaguar XK 120 Drop Head Coupe has an automatic choke, and this works perfectly. Engine has a great sound through the new stainless-steel exhaust. Power is amazing and the gearbox is firm and easy to shift through the gears. Also, the brakes are exceptionally good on this car. 160 hp was a lot already in 1953!
History: This Jaguar XK 120 was first registered in UK in 1953. It later came to Sweden in 1976. It changed hands a couple of times and has been with the present owner since 1986. It is a matching numbers car.
