Its rarity is staggering, Alpina produced only 142 total examples of the B3 S Coupé, with only a small fraction specified with the purist 6-speed manual gearbox. When compared to sports cars from a similar era like the Porsche 996 or 997 Carrera, the contrast in production scale is immense; while the ultra-rare Alpina manual coupé was produced in the double or low triple digits worldwide, Porsche pumped out tens of thousands of Carreras, making the 911 massively more common on the secondary market while simultaneously commanding a much higher, less accessible modern price tag.

This particular example features the highly desirable 6-speed Getrag manual gearbox, paired with Alpina’s optimized shift linkage for a mechanical, precise gear change. History and Documentation: This E46 Alpina B3 S was sold new in Germany in July 2003. During its initial years there, it recorded three stamps in the original service book from authorized BMW dealers, covering its history up to 121,987 km. In 2006, the car was imported to Sweden, where it was maintained strictly on schedule with a transparent, continuous history evidenced by clear MOT mileage records.

In 2018, the car returned to Germany, where its authorized BMW and Alpina specialist service history continued seamlessly. The car is now offered freshly serviced, complete with all its original books, two sets of keys, and a comprehensive file of accompanying paperwork.
