Vehicle Overview

Opel Monza GSE 1986 with 96.000km for sale
The Opel Monza GSE 3.0 was a high-performance grand tourer produced by Opel from 1983 to 1986. It was the last and most powerful version of the Monza, and was powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six engine that produced 180 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque. The engine was mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and drove the rear wheels.

The Monza GSE 3.0 was also distinguished from other Monzas by its more aggressive appearance, which included a black grille, anthracite alloy wheels, and a boot spoiler. It also came with a number of performance upgrades, such as a firmer suspension, a limited-slip differential, and Recaro sports seats.

On the inside, the Monza GSE 3.0 was equipped with a digital dashboard, an onboard computer, and a luxurious leather interior. It also came with a number of standard features, such as electric windows, air conditioning, and a power sunroof.

The Monza GSE 3.0 was a capable and luxurious grand tourer. It had a top speed of 135 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. It was also relatively fuel-efficient, with a combined fuel economy rating of 25 mpg.

The Monza GSE 3.0 was a popular car in its day, and was praised by critics for its performance, handling, and luxury. It was also relatively affordable, making it a great value for the money.

Exterior: The Opel Monza GSE 3.0 for sale here has a very nice silver paintwork and most of it is still the first paint from the factory. Yes, you can see some traces of use, but it is remarkably well kept. The unique wheels are in condition like new and fitted with Michelin tires. Original with tinted glass and electric sunroof. There is absolutely no corrosion to be found on this car. It spent most of its life indoors and was only driven on sunny days.

Interior: The Opel Monza GSE had a much more luxurious interior than the previous models. Proper Recaro seats up front. Power windows and air condition. And even a cruise control that is very nice here in Sweden when you come out on the highway and stretch your legs. The car still looks like new inside and the LCD instrument cluster is super cool and fully working. You have electric mirrors and even a on board computer. Even though it is a sporty looking coupe, the car can easily fit 4 people and luggage in the back.

Engine: The straight six-cylinder engine gives you 180hp and you have a five speed gearbox. Another unique feature with the Opel Monza GSE model was the sport suspension with increased handling. A limited slip differential will help you getting the power to the ground and 0-100km/h can be done 7.5 seconds making this the fastest Opel I have ever driven. The air condition unit is working, but not blowing cold air.

History: The Opel Monza GSE was registered in Sweden the first time 1985-12-05. The first owner had the car until 1999 when it was traded in with a dealer. It was sitting with this dealer until 2005 when the second owner bought it. It comes with full service history including original service book. Full documentation of the travelled 95.000km with service book and technical inspection papers. We would like to think this is very unique for a car like this. Everything on the car is original, even the stickers in the engine room. Original tools and spare are with the car. Want to sell your car? Click here
