BMW E9 3.0 CSi

For sale BMW E9 3.0 CSi from 1975 in Fjord blue

The BMW 3.0 CSi E9 cars are awesome! I have had the privilege to have owned and driven many of these cars in my life. And, I just love them! I think the BMW E9 is so much better than its rivals from the same time period.

Exterior: This Fjord blue BMW 3.0 CSi E9 has a perfect paintwork that was done in 2020. As you can see in all the pictures, it looks just stunning. After the paintwork, all rubber was replaced when screens and other details went back on the car. All chrome parts are perfect just like the glass. The BMW E9 original wheels have been sandblasted, painted and fitted with new Michelin tyres. The panel fit is just perfect and it has a sunroof. Underneath the car was also completely cleaned and then painted in the original grey.

Interior: The for sale BMW 3.0 CSi E9 was so good on the inside that it would be a pity to put everything new here. Still the original carpet in great condition with small traces of use. And, the same with the dark blue cloth interior. Wood panels and dashboard all original super nice and not restored. This BMW E9 has four power windows and power sunroof, all working perfectly. All plastic chrome details around the seats are still also original and very nice. In the trunk area, the original plastic panels were repainted and as you can see in the photos, it is very good and clean also in the trunk.

Engine: The 3l straight six engine was out of the car and checked for tolerance and compression. Then, new gaskets were fitted all around the engine. It was cleaned painted and put back in the car. All fluids were replaced in 2020 and the car runs perfectly. Also, the gearbox final drive suspension is in perfect working order. The “I” in CSi stands for injection. This gives the E9 20 more horsepower than the normal BMW CS. In 1975, there were 555 BMW 3.0 CSi produced

History: On the second of April in 1975 the first owner in Sweden took delivery of his new BMW 3.0 CSi E9. The E9 was sold to the island of Gotland in 1996 and had a Technical Inspection there. After this, the BMW was left standing until 2020 when it got a part restoration. 1975 was the last year of BMW E9 production and only 1,734 in total were sold. One of the most beautiful sportscars built by Karmann factory had come to an end. If you do not have the budget for a BMW E9, I would suggest you have a look for a good BMW E3. A wonderful classic sharing the same engines and feeling of quality as the E9 cars but with 4 doors.
