The Triumph GT6 came around in 1966 with the MK1 followed by MK2 in 1968 with just over 12,000 cars produced. The final version and very different looking MK3 came in 1970 and lasted until December 1973.
Exterior: The car was repainted in 2018 and before the paint the rocker panels and wheel arches in the rear were replaced. This was all done by professional workshop, receipts and pictures are available. A set of Spax springs with adjustable shocks were fitted to give the car a sportier look and improved handling. A new set of wheels and tyres. The chrome parts are the original and they are in very good shape. All rubber around doors, windows etc have been replaced. Also, all badges are new.
Interior: The original seats and dashboard are in good condition. The carpet is new, and the headliner is original in good condition. It has original spare, jack and tools.
Engine: Runs and sounds very good. Fitted with a very special exhaust system which gives the car the right sound and performance. All hoses and clamps around the engine have been replaced. Some gaskets, and full service were done October 2018 including all electrical parts. All brake parts new: Master cylinders, hoses, wheel cylinders, shoes and pads.
History: This is a very late Triumph GT6 MK2 and was registered in Sweden the first time on 17th of August 1970 and belonged to a company until May 1976. The new owner Mr Bonnedahl from northern Sweden inspected the car in 1977 and then the car was left standing until today. It changed hands but never came back on the road until 2018. Since the car was standing for 41 years, we believe the km reading of just over 60,000km is correct.
