Exterior: I would like to make it clear from the start that this is a standard BMW CS that is made aesthetically to look like a CSL Batmobile. Many original BMW parts were used since this car was built when these parts were available from BMW. The car had a major restoration in the region of 1994 and it is still today looking very good. Rolling on 16” Alpina wheels and coilovers adjustable suspension.
Interior: This BMW 3.0 CS with CSL conversion has the CSL style bucket seats. Everything inside the car is in a very good condition. All wood panels and instruments are perfect! Headliner is very nice and clean and there is an electric sunroof. Fitted with a time period correct Blaupunkt radio. For me, a Petri steering wheel is the best-looking steering wheel from cars in this era.
Engine: This BMW E9 3.0 CS has a complete stock CS engine. And that means a six-cylinder fuel injected engine producing 200 happy horses. To make this classic BMW more suitable to today’s driving conditions, a five-speed dogleg gearbox has been fitted.
History: This BMW 3.0 CS was imported to Sweden in 1982. Around 1992-1993 was when all the major work was done to this car such as body, paint, interior and more. It has covered approximately 20,000km since and still looks amazing today. It comes with a thick binder with collected receipts for parts and work done over the years.
