BMW E9 3.0 CSi 1974 for sale
The BMW E9 models are becoming increasingly popular and I can understand why. It is very elegant styling matched with wonderful performance and quality. And, the BMW is still affordable in my opinion when you compare with the rivals, such as Porsche and Ferrari.
Exterior: As you can see in the pictures, this BMW CSi 3.0 for sale is stunning and very close to perfection in my opinion. The BMW colour in 025 “Granat Metallic” is perfect. The chrome parts are very good, and all rubber details have been replaced recently. Door and panel gaps are excellent. Refurbished original wheels with new Michelin tyres. One thing that is important to understand about this BMW E9 for sale is that it was delivered in sunny Italy and then exported to USA, and during exile it was not used much and mostly sitting in a dry garage. After the return to Europe, it has been pampered in every way and used only in dry weather.
Interior: On the BMW E9 3.0 CSi I prefer a cloth interior because it gives you that nice warm fuzzy feeling inside. And on the BMW I have for sale here, it has a very nice light grey cloth interior and grey carpets. Every little detail in the interior of this BMW is in exceptional condition. And it even has an air condition!
The BMW 3.0 CSi straight six develops 200hp
Engine: The engine starts and runs perfectly. This BMW E9 engine and surroundings are exceptionally clean. Gaskets and all hoses for fuel and water etc have been replaced. The gearbox has been upgraded to a dogleg five speed (from 635). This gives the CSi very good acceleration and with 0.85 ratio on fifth gear. You are cruising comfortably on the highway making Tesla owners wonder how such an old car can be so fast!
History: This BMW E9 3.0 CSi for sale was manufactured on October 16th 1974 and delivered on April 25th to the importer, BMW Italia S.p.A in Palazzolo Verona. It is still today in the original colour combination. In 1985, this BMW did what we all wanted to do back then. It went to America! In America, it did not get to exercise much and returned to Switzerland first around 2006 and then with the same owner it was registered in Sweden in 2016 and has been here since.
