Vehicle Overview
A true gentleman never sits behind anything less than twelve cylinders. Well, at least if you are a true classic car enthusiast, you should at least once in your lifetime have owned a car with a V12 engine. It is a special feeling.
Exterior: The Jaguar E-type Fixed Head Coupe Series 3 looks stunning in black with red interior. The paint is just perfect, and all panels fit exceptionally well. The almost new chrome spoke wheels together with all the other very nice chrome make a great contrast to black. A set of fully working fog lights are fitted behind the grill. The Jaguar E-Type Series 3 is longer and wider than the earlier models and it looks a little bit more muscle. The underneath of this car is also in a very good shape. Not even any surface rust to be seen.
Interior: Jaguar E-type Coupe Series 3 came only in 2+2 or Roadster. This means you actually have a little space for the kids in the back. The red leather inside looks and feels amazing. It makes the perfect contrast to all the black details. Dashboard and carpets are also excellent. All instruments look sharp, and they are doing their job. If you are big or tall, you can forget the early Jaguar E-types, but in a Series 3 also XL drivers are comfortable.

Engine: Give me a V12, automatic gearbox, power steering, AC and I will not stop driving until I get hungry. I know it is not a sports car! In fact, it is more like a Jaguar Saloon in a very sleek Grand Touring package. Even though there is certainly not lack of power, the Jaguar E-type Coupe Series 3 feels heavy and solid. More suited for today’s classic car driving than earlier models. The engine in this car starts easily. Sounds very nice with the fishtail exhaust. Automatic Borg Warner gearbox works wonderfully. Also, brakes and the overall technical condition of this car feel great.
History: Registered for the first time in USA in 1972. Then, the Jaguar E-type Coupe Series 3 came to Sweden in 2005 and was on the road in 2006. There have been some owners on this car in Sweden. All can be documented in chronological order. The last Technical Control (TUF, MOT) here in Sweden was done September 2019. The E-type has recently been to a specialist for a big service, replacing all fluids, changing some bushings and all hoses.
