Vehicle Overview
Porsche 996 Turbo S for sale with 9950km from new!
The Porsche 996 Turbo S was the grand finale of the 996 Turbo cars. Just over 1,500 cars were produced before the Porsche 997 came into production. Most of these cars are from production year 2005. Previously you could order your 996 with a so-called X50 package, but the S model is essentially a X50 package car with larger turbos and intercooler giving you 450 hp.
Exterior: The Porsche 996 Turbo S for sale is pretty much spotless on the outside looking like a factory new car. Looks very striking in the metallic black paintwork and the yellow brake callipers as a contrast. The wheels and tyres are spotless. The factory options visible on the outside were
- 18” Sport Techno wheels
- 17 mm spacer for rear wheels
- Wheel caps with coloured Porsche crest
- Roof rack
- Sun-moon-roof
Interior: It smells and feels like stepping into a brand-new Porsche 996 Turbo S! Despite being now 17 years old, you can find only minimal signs of wear. Every little detail is truly in a stunning condition here and the Porsche has great collector-car potential. I feel there is no need for a sunroof in a modern car. However, it is nice to open up while cruising in town listening to the tunes of the flat six from behind. You have power seats, climate control and the Porsche entertainment centre and navigation wrapped in carbon fibre. Swedish designed Porsche 996 Turbo S comes with seat heating. Other extra equipment on this car is as follows.
- Carbon handbrake lever
- Carbon centre air vent bracket
- Carbon dashboard trim strip
- Carbon instrument surround
- Carbon gear lever knob
- Leather covered ignition lock surround
- Porsche crest embossed headrests
- Leather edged floor mats with Porsche script
Engine: This Porsche 996 Turbo S has not even passed the 10,000 km mark yet. Everything on the car is working and sounding like when it left the factory in 2005. Very pleasant exhaust note on this car, manly but without screaming “look at me”. Please note that this is with manual gearbox! Of the total 1500 cars only 183 of them had manual gearbox.
History: The first lady owner bought this Porsche in May 2005. She only had it for about 6 months before passing it on to a friend who kept the car until 2017 when he traded it in for a Ferrari. The third private owner got the car in 2018 and he also has been using this Porsche only on very special occasions. It comes with all the original items, service book, handbook etc in the original leather pouch. We know there is less than a handful of these cars in Sweden. It is a car for the serious Porsche collector and the future lies ahead.
