Mercedes 300 Adenauer 1955

Mercedes 300 B W186 Adenauer 1955 for sale

Exterior: Original black paint with an incredible depth. Room and rubber details are very close to perfect. A big black Mercedes like this almost needs tires with a thin white stripe if you do not like it these can be turned inwards

Interior: This car has an all original interior in close to perfect condition. I would think that it is very rare to find a Mercedes from 1955 with an original interior in such great condition as this one.

Engine/History: This car that had the licence plate O39409 was bought new in July 27, 1955, by Lundberg Bilstation, a limousine service company in Göteborg (Gothenburg), Sweden. Customers were large industrial companies and companies in shipping in Göteborg. It should also have been used as transport to other national and international celebrities. After 15 years of distinguished service it was in September 11th 1970 sold to Harry Carlsson. The car had then run 110 000 km. Harry was the owner of Kallebäcks åkeri, a road carrier company in Göteborg which he founded in 1928 and now had developed to a substantial size. His son has mentioned that Harry was very pedantic about the car and maintained it in very good condition. At that time Harry lived in Tvååker south of Göteborg and the car got the licence plate N39409. In 1973 the licence plate was replaced by the new type.

In 1977 Harry passed away and the car that still was in very god shape, as stated by his son, and was sold to Alf in Kullavik. The care had now run 205000 km. Alf was a Mercedes collector and did some work on the car. He has stated that he had a high-quality paintwork done on the car. He had also the chassis thoroughly clean by e.g. taking old body coat away and painting it.

In October 28, 1995 the car with 209000 km on the meter, was sold to Ingemar in Ulricehamn. He is a car collector and owner of Ulricehamns Bilexpo, which used to be the local Mercedes dealer.

In October 13, 2002 the car was bought by Stanley in Västerås. It had then 210200 km on the meter. Stanley is another Swedish car collector.

The present owner, also being a Mercedes collector, bought the car in February 3rd, 2009. The meter then showed 215000 km. He rebuilt the engine by boring the cylinders and putting new pistons in. The crankshaft was grinded, and all bearings replaces. The cylinder top was grinded, and all valves were checked and found ok. All valve guides were replaced and valves and valve seats grinded. The motor rubber mounts were replaced. The engine now runs very well, with oil pressure according to specification and without excessive mechanical noise.
The central lubrication system has been renovated. The brake system has been through a thorough overhaul.
A tailored stainless-steel exhaust system (Ferita) has been mounted. The battery was replaced 2019.
The car has now run about 218000 km.

Very nice chrome, clean glass, must have been repainted some time over the years. The very special fintail lights are very good and free from any cracks. I doubt there were ever any rust repairs made on this car! Not even underneath.

Engine: Runs as strong as you can expect from 700cc! Good sound and easy to shift through the gears. Mechanically perfect!

BMW E9 3.0 CSi

BMW 3.0 CSi E9 1972 for sale

Exterior: The car is painted in an original BMW E9 colour (Fjord blue) and the restoration of this car was done in Germany many years ago. The company York Ehlert spend 21,400DM on the body work and also many small parts were replaced here. The invoice for this is dated October 1990. Then, in 1991 there is another invoice for 32,690DM for complete interior work. From some old pictures, I can see the rocker panels have been replaced and also the inner wheel arches facing the torpedo wall. Also, floorboards. The parts used were complete BMW original panels. The car was painted in 2016 in Norway and has not been driven much since.

Today it is rolling on 15” BBS split wheels with good tyres. It has been fitted with CSL springs for a slightly lower ride height. A lot of the chrome parts are new. New bumpers, taillights etc. The car looks amazing!

Interior: A very nice leather interior in beige, new headliner, sun visors etc and a new carpet give a wonderful impression from the inside of this E9. Also, all panels in the trunk are in a very nice original condition.

Engine: This BMW Csi has a 3.5l engine ( m30b35) producing in the region of 240hp. It also has a five-speed dogleg gearbox. New clutch. We have recently spent around 7,000€ on the car replacing sending units for the injection, rebuilt brake callipers and service of the entire brake system. Proper service with oil change, filters, plugs etc etc. Fitted a new servo pump and replaced seals in the servo unit. Rebuilt wiper motor and more. So, this is a car for somebody that wants to have a car that drives very nicely and are cruising at ease in highway speed with a five-speed gearbox. We are fully aware that this is not the original engine and we do not have the original engine. So, if you want it original, go look for another car.

History: This car came to Stavanger in Norway in 1977 with Mr. Willy Eriksson that was able to take this car with him home after having worked abroad in Germany. Then in 2006 Mr. Bergersen in Fenstad bought the BMW and then last year we bought it from Norway and have just completed the registration here in Sweden. And this means it is now inside E.U. borders again and no taxes.

Volvo P1800S 1965

Volvo P1800S 1965 for sale

I have managed to find yet another very good Volvo P1800S from 1965.

Exterior: There was a body and paint restoration done back in the 90's. Then the car got new front fenders and new rocker panels and painted again in the original colour. It still looks fantastic today! Some of the chrome parts are new and rest still in very good original condition. Wheels have been sandblasted, painted and fitted with Vredestein Classic tyres. This car sits right in height and gets a lot of attention every time I go driving.

Interior: Still original red leather seats that have been upgraded with headrests that came a few years later on these cars. New door panels and a new carpet make it look nice and fresh inside. All instruments work (not the clock) and they are in stunning condition. Previous owner added a little armrest and this is easy to be removed if you should not like it. However, I have to say after driving a while with this car, it is very nice to have.

Engine: The original B18 engine starts very easily, has a great sound and feels very strong. Carburettors have just been rebuilt, new clutch cylinder and also the brake booster that can be an issue in these cars are working fine. And it is the original brake booster, and not the aftermarket plastic ones. The previous owner had a rear axle from the Amazon fitted and that gives this Volvo P1800 a lower rpm at cruising speed, and this is very nice with today's roads and also it will save you some gasoline. The original rear axle is also available. Otherwise this P1800S gives you a very nice and solid feeling on the road. It is a car I would not hesitate one minute to take for a long road trip through Europe.

History: This Volvo P1800S was sold here in Sweden and was registered for the first tine on the 14th of June 1965. The first owner kept the car until 1973 when Tomas from Stockholm bought it. And Tomas kept the car until 2006 when it moved to Gothenburg area and stayed there until recently. It is a very well documented car with original owner’s manual, a nice binder with all collected documents for the car over the years including Technical Control and invoices for parts and service work. The last owner liked to drive this car all over Europe, so it was always well maintained. And my driving experience of this car is far better than many newly restored cars I have had.

Audi 75 1968 with 7500km

Audi 75 1968 with 7500km from new for sale

Exterior: This Audi 75 is still in 90% first paint and still looks amazing. There is some small pitting on the door handles, but the bumpers are still very shiny and dent free. The original colour is Lotus Weiss and it makes a very nice contrast with the brown interior. The stickers on the screen advise you how to drive before the car is broken in. And according to the sticker this car has not passed the drive-in period yet. (15.000km)

Interior: When you open the door, it becomes obvious this car has only 7500km. The very special and original moulded floor carpet is still in condition like new. The seats, door cards, sun visors etc is all like new. It is a little bit like time travel to sit inside and just look at the details. It does not take so long though since there where not so many details in the Audi 75. The more common Audi 60 or Audi 90 looked slightly different inside. The same goes for levers and knobs, it feels just like they are still new.

Engine: Starts easy and has a nice sound to it. The car weighs less than 1000kg so the 72 horsepower is enough to make you keep up with ease in city driving and also on the countryside. The gears go in easily and the brakes are good. Just fitted with new brake hoses

History: Sold new in Sweden and was registered for the first time on the 20th of September in 1968. Full owners’ history with name and time.

Maserati Bora

Maserati Bora AM 117 4.7 1973 for sale

Exterior: The Maserati Bora does NOT go unnoticed! I can just imagine back in 1973, this car must have been looking like a spaceship roaring through the tiny streets of a remote village in Italy. This is razor edge design at its peak from Bertone and Giugiaro. I think just about every Italian car that I like was penned by Giugiaro! The original silver paintwork is spectacular just like the panel fit. It was repainted some time during the 90's at Campana in Italy. All outside details are in a very nice and original condition. Rolling on original style Campagnolo wheels with Pirelli tyres. The original hubcaps are in “like new” condition.

Interior: For an Italian sportscar, the Maserati Bora is actually very comfortable, and I would not hesitate to take this car for a long road trip through Europe. The long seats looking almost like beach chairs are very comfortable and the original leather from 1973 is still in a fantastic shape. You can make everything new, but it will never be the same feeling as when it is the original! The instrumentation is like a small aircraft, but still tasteful and with function. Everything inside this car works the way it should. And black interior will always look good, even in another 20 years from now. The car is super clean and original even when you open the rear hood and also in the rather large size for a sportscar front compartment.

Engine: The 4.7l V8 engine in the Maserati Bora makes the right sound to match the outside appearance. And with the five-speed dogleg gearbox, it is fantastic to drive even on today's roads. The carburettors have just been cleaned and adjusted. Otherwise this car has had only the normal service work done to it over the years. I would think it is not easy to find such original and untouched Maserati Bora today. Please also note that this car was sold new in Europe, the cars sold new in USA often have less power due to the emission restrictions during this time.

History: This car was registered in Sweden for the first time in Sweden on November the 11th in 1976 and it was then imported from Germany. It has been featured in the Maserati Bulletin, and also in the book World of Sports Cars by Frank Oleski. There are pictures of this Maserati Bora with the same license plate it bares today. It comes with Swedish Technical Control (TUF) documents collected over the years. And the km can be verified here. The last Technical Control here in Sweden was done 2018-06-26 and the car is ready to drive. I feel it is important to emphasise this is a very original car that has always just been carefully maintained, used only in sunny and dry conditions while most other Italian sportscars from the 70’s have already been restored perhaps more than one time. The car is confirmed by Maserati Classiche.

Mercedes 300 Adenauer

Mercedes 300 Cabriolet W186 for sale

Exterior: The Mercedes 300 where produce from 1951 until 1962 and from W186 there where 642 Convertibles built. Then 65 more of the W189. This car had an extensive restoration done here in Sweden during the years 1987-1990. After this the car has been used only as an enthusiast car on sunny days. The black paint is in a very good condition just like the chrome. All doors and panels have a very good fit and close the way they should on a Mercedes. The big soft top is also new and has a very good stretch. This is a car that gets a lot of road presence!

Interior: When you sit inside a Mercedes 300 Adenauer Convertible it is easy to understand this was one of Mercedes finest cars in the production line. The detailed chrome on the dashboard makes a perfect contrast towards the red leather. For me the best colour combination on any classic car is black with red interior and this big Mercedes W186 really comes alive when you pull the top down and you can see the bright red leather as the car is driving by. And the condition of the interior is just stunning. Every little chrome detail inside the car is just perfect, just like carpets and headliner. The beautiful time period correct radio in the centre of the dashboard.

Engine: Starts easy and runs very nice. Normal service and maintenance over the years. Normal sounds from engine, gearbox and final drive. During the restoration completed 1990 the bearings and all gaskets in the engine where replaced.

History: This Mercedes 300 W186 Cabriolet sold new here in Sweden on the 4th of February 1954. It comes with binder showing all receipts for the restoration. The car had odometer reading 21908 in 1990 when the restoration was completed, and it is today 28300. But the car has been used every year and has been taken trough technical inspection (TUF) here in Sweden almost every year. The first owner of this car was a company by the name of Osram Electric. After this there is a full owner’s history by date and name.

Citroen DS 21 1973

Citroen DS 21 Super 5 from 1973 for sale

Exterior: The car had a light restoration around 10 years ago when it was repainted. Some body work was done, and it received new rubber seals etc. It is today looking very presentable in its grey metallic colour. Exterior details such as door handles bumpers etc are also in very good condition. Rolling on time period correct looking Wredestein tyres. No matter what you think about the design of a Citroen DS, you have to admit that this car has a lot of road presence.

Interior: As you can see this car has a Pallas interior in black leather. It makes a great contrast to the grey outside. The best part with this entire car is for me the wonderful patina on the leather of this car. It is still very nice and soft, not broken anywhere, but you can see it has been around for many years and has been very well taken care of over the years. All of the instruments are working as they should and also all functions such as heat, fans, wipers etc. Nice carpets and headliner.

Engine: Starts easily and rise up like it should. Was recently fitted with new hydraulics. It has a new exhaust and the engine sounds and runs great. For me the five-speed gearbox is a big plus in comparison with a semi-automatic and shifting gears in this car is very smooth. This is a DS Super 5 and gives 106 horsepower which was quite a lot back in 1973.

History: This Lovely Citroen DS 21 was taken into traffic the first time on the 8th of May in 1973. First owner had the car for 10 years and the it changed hands again in 2007, 2014 and 2019. It comes with the original handbook and a binder containing collected receipts and inspection documents over the years.

Aston Martin Virage

Aston Martin Virage 1990 for sale

Interior: Wonderful magnolia leather with a dark blue piping to give that exclusive Aston feeling. All wood panels are in perfect condition and this Virage has an ice cold air condition. Time period cassette/radio, beautiful suede headliner. A stylish coupe and still with space in the back for the children. And as you can see, this is a left-hand drive car.

Engine: The mighty V8 gives out a mean roar and the power is transferred through a five-speed dogleg gearbox. All normal sound from engine and gearbox.

Lotus Elan S3 Convertible

Lotus Elan S3 Convertible 1967 for sale

Exterior: Personally, I love British Racing Green on any car, and I think it is very suitable for the Elan. The paint itself is in a very good condition or close to perfect. The black soft top that nobody ever uses is also in a good condition. The wheels have just been sandblasted, painted and received new chrome rings and lug nuts. Also fitted with new tyres in correct size.

Interior: Seats, carpets etc are all in a very good condition. There are a few cracks in the wood, otherwise everything inside the car looks very nice.
