BMW E9 3.0 CSi

BMW 3.0 CSi E9 1972 for sale

Exterior: The car is painted in an original BMW E9 colour (Fjord blue) and the restoration of this car was done in Germany many years ago. The company York Ehlert spend 21,400DM on the body work and also many small parts were replaced here. The invoice for this is dated October 1990. Then, in 1991 there is another invoice for 32,690DM for complete interior work. From some old pictures, I can see the rocker panels have been replaced and also the inner wheel arches facing the torpedo wall. Also, floorboards. The parts used were complete BMW original panels. The car was painted in 2016 in Norway and has not been driven much since.

Today it is rolling on 15” BBS split wheels with good tyres. It has been fitted with CSL springs for a slightly lower ride height. A lot of the chrome parts are new. New bumpers, taillights etc. The car looks amazing!

Interior: A very nice leather interior in beige, new headliner, sun visors etc and a new carpet give a wonderful impression from the inside of this E9. Also, all panels in the trunk are in a very nice original condition.

Engine: This BMW Csi has a 3.5l engine ( m30b35) producing in the region of 240hp. It also has a five-speed dogleg gearbox. New clutch. We have recently spent around 7,000€ on the car replacing sending units for the injection, rebuilt brake callipers and service of the entire brake system. Proper service with oil change, filters, plugs etc etc. Fitted a new servo pump and replaced seals in the servo unit. Rebuilt wiper motor and more. So, this is a car for somebody that wants to have a car that drives very nicely and are cruising at ease in highway speed with a five-speed gearbox. We are fully aware that this is not the original engine and we do not have the original engine. So, if you want it original, go look for another car.

History: This car came to Stavanger in Norway in 1977 with Mr. Willy Eriksson that was able to take this car with him home after having worked abroad in Germany. Then in 2006 Mr. Bergersen in Fenstad bought the BMW and then last year we bought it from Norway and have just completed the registration here in Sweden. And this means it is now inside E.U. borders again and no taxes.

Maserati Bora

Maserati Bora AM 117 4.7 1973 for sale

Exterior: The Maserati Bora does NOT go unnoticed! I can just imagine back in 1973, this car must have been looking like a spaceship roaring through the tiny streets of a remote village in Italy. This is razor edge design at its peak from Bertone and Giugiaro. I think just about every Italian car that I like was penned by Giugiaro! The original silver paintwork is spectacular just like the panel fit. It was repainted some time during the 90's at Campana in Italy. All outside details are in a very nice and original condition. Rolling on original style Campagnolo wheels with Pirelli tyres. The original hubcaps are in “like new” condition.

Interior: For an Italian sportscar, the Maserati Bora is actually very comfortable, and I would not hesitate to take this car for a long road trip through Europe. The long seats looking almost like beach chairs are very comfortable and the original leather from 1973 is still in a fantastic shape. You can make everything new, but it will never be the same feeling as when it is the original! The instrumentation is like a small aircraft, but still tasteful and with function. Everything inside this car works the way it should. And black interior will always look good, even in another 20 years from now. The car is super clean and original even when you open the rear hood and also in the rather large size for a sportscar front compartment.

Engine: The 4.7l V8 engine in the Maserati Bora makes the right sound to match the outside appearance. And with the five-speed dogleg gearbox, it is fantastic to drive even on today's roads. The carburettors have just been cleaned and adjusted. Otherwise this car has had only the normal service work done to it over the years. I would think it is not easy to find such original and untouched Maserati Bora today. Please also note that this car was sold new in Europe, the cars sold new in USA often have less power due to the emission restrictions during this time.

History: This car was registered in Sweden for the first time in Sweden on November the 11th in 1976 and it was then imported from Germany. It has been featured in the Maserati Bulletin, and also in the book World of Sports Cars by Frank Oleski. There are pictures of this Maserati Bora with the same license plate it bares today. It comes with Swedish Technical Control (TUF) documents collected over the years. And the km can be verified here. The last Technical Control here in Sweden was done 2018-06-26 and the car is ready to drive. I feel it is important to emphasise this is a very original car that has always just been carefully maintained, used only in sunny and dry conditions while most other Italian sportscars from the 70’s have already been restored perhaps more than one time. The car is confirmed by Maserati Classiche.

Mercedes 220 A cabriolet

Mercedes 220 A convertible W187 1954 for sale

Exterior: Nice looking older paintwork (2009). Nice chrome, rubber and the convertible top are in a very good condition. Classic colour combination for a Mercedes. This is a car that gets a lot of road presence. A Mercedes 220 from this time period has parts of wood inside the body and on this car the wood has been replaced. Also, some body work was done at this time.

Interior: A very nice all original leather interior. Wonderful condition despite the 65 years of age. Nice wood panels and a time period radio. Original turn signal on the steering wheel. In the trunk, you will find the original Mercedes luggage set also in beautiful condition.

Engine: In 2017 the engine including head in this car was rebuilt to a very high cost and it was converted from 6v to 12v system. It was also converted to run on led free gasoline. At this time new piston and rings were fitted, new bearings and the crankshaft was grinded. All gaskets around the engine were also replaced. And a new timing chain.

History: This is car that was sold new here in Sweden back in 1954. Appears to have been standing from 1966 and the major restoration work by private started in 2008. Volvo P1800S 1966

Volvo P1800S 1966 for sale

Exterior: Painted last year in the original white colour. Bumpers are new, and also some of the outer chrome details. New rubber around windows, and in the doors, trunk etc. Wheels were sandblasted, painted, fitted with new tyres and new hubcaps. The car looks very striking on the road and a white car with red interior must be one of the best colour combinations for a Volvo P1800.

Interior: The Volvo P1800 has a completely new interior, new leather, door panels, carpet etc. All instruments work, even the clock is working, and I think I have never had a P1800 with working clock! Still original headliner and dashboard in good condition. Original Volvo seat belts come along with the car.

Engine: The engine has been rebuilt with new pistons and bearings. Most of the brake components are new and the brake servo is working perfectly. A wheel alignment has just been done which makes the car run very nicely and stable on the road. Fires up instantly and gives a very nice and crisp sound through the new exhaust. Very good acceleration and normal sound in gearbox and final drive. Receipts for the engine rebuild available. The car has been driven only a few hundred km after the rebuild.

History: This Volvo P1800S was produced in December 1965 and is year model 1966. The first owner had the car from 1965 to 1982. It was traded in at a dealership that became owner number 2 and then sold to owner number 3 that had the car until 2002 when it was taken out of traffic and came to owner number 4 that left it in the barn hoping the condition would improve over the years. But it did not, so in 2015 the car was sold the owner number 5 that started the restoration and worked on it until July 2018 when I bought it. And it was completed by my mechanic just recently here in April 2019. It just had a Technical Inspection here in Sweden and is ready to drive anywhere.

Jaguar XK 150 for sale

Jaguar XK 150 OTS 1959 for sale

Exterior: Classic Jaguar colour combination with British racing green exterior and biscuit leather interior. A combination that suits the sleek lines of the XK 150 OTS very well. A very nice looking car with a paint work that is showing just a little bit of age, good rubber and good glass. The soft top is also in good condition if there should come a shower while out driving. Rolling on a set of chrome spoke wheels with good tyres.

Interior: Lots of patina on the original leather that is still very soft and workable. Instruments in very good condition.

Engine: The engine in this car has been upgraded to a 3,8l fitted with a golden head and triple carburettors. It gives the car fantastic power and a staggering performance for a car built in 1959. It starts easily and has a normal sound and good oil pressure.

History: Sold new in U.K and then converted to L.H.D in Sweden. No documentation with the car.

Volvo P1800S 1965

Volvo P1800S 1965 for sale

Exterior: Very nice paint and in the original graphite grey. This is my favourite colour for any classic Volvo and with the contrast of the red interior, it looks amazing. Most of the chrome parts are still original and in very good shape. Most of the rubber parts were replaced when the car was repainted around 10 years ago. The body has never been in any need of rust repairs and is still in its original form and very straight with good panel gaps. Also, the underneath of the car is in very good unwelded condition. Pictured here with a set of Minilite wheels but has also the original wheels with new hubcaps. We also have a set of 5,5 KPZ wheels if you prefer those.

Interior: The interior has new carpet, new panels and new seat covers in red leather just like it was original. All instruments are in very good condition, very nice dashboard and good original headliner. Also, the foam in the seats has been replaced.

The engine: In this car is very strong and happy, looking at the car and feeling the performance I am pretty sure the original kilometre reading is less than 100,000. But there is not full documentation to support it. Perfect gearbox and overdrive. Rear axle was just rebuilt.

History: Sold new in Sweden in 1965 and was later exported to northern parts of Norway and now back in Sweden.

Volvo Amazon 1965

Volvo Amazon 1965 for sale

The Volvo Amazon was in production from 1956-1970 and there were many variations. The engine alternatives were in the beginning B16 and then later the successful B18 and last the B20. These last two engines are known to be the toughest engines in the world.

Exterior: There is no other colour that suits the Amazon as well as black (19). It really makes all that chrome stand out. And, the chrome details on this car are in excellent condition, as well as the paint. The bumper guards have been removed for a wider sleeker look. But they come along with the car. It has also a sport suspension that makes the ride height slightly lower than original. Underneath this car was cleaned and the entire front and rear suspension was dismantled, all parts were sandblasted and painted and new bushings were fitted. There was never any rust on this car. We can not even find that it has been welded anywhere underneath.

Interior: Here the car is in very good and original condition. Still wearing original seat covers in very nice condition. Good headliner and all instruments work as they should. There is a new dashboard fitted recently and a textile carpet. It has seat belts also for the passengers in the back.

Engine: The engine fitted is a B20 for better power, and with this there is a Weber carburettor. It has a little bit more free exhaust system that gives it a very nice sound without being loud. The delivery of the power goes through a gearbox M41 J-type with overdrive. And, this makes the car wonderful to drive even on longer stretches or if you need to go on the highway. You are now cruising along in 110-120km/hr with ease.

History: This car was living its early life in one of the districts in Sweden where they did not use any salt on the road’s wintertime. The car was repainted by previous owner in 2012 and has never needed anything but regular maintenance. All bushing and joints in the front and rear were replaced in 2017. We also have the original engine and gearbox.

Volvo P1800S 1967

Volvo P1800S 1967 for sale

I have had many Volvo P1800 cars in my life, they are beautiful cars from every angle. But the driving experience never impressed me much, until I drove this car!

Exterior: The four wings and rocker panels have been replaced and then the car was repainted. All the gaps and lines are today in perfect harmony. Better than when the car was new! All chrome details have been replated or replaced and new rubber all around.

Interior: Black leather, red carpet, those beautiful instruments all working as they should.

Engine: The best part of this car is the engine. It is a B20 with fuel injection (from P1800 E-model) and then the block was drilled out to B21 and new pistons fitted. The head is modified with bigger valves (44mm in and 37mm out) KG10 camshaft, oil cooler fitted. 123 ignition, free flowing exhaust. The rear axle and front hubs were changed to the one from an E model so it now has disc brakes also in the rear. A bigger brake booster fitted for best possible stopping power. M41 overdrive gearbox. In all, this gives you a very nice driving experience of this Volvo P1800S. This is how the car should have been from factory! Great power with lots of torque, the cabin is very quiet and when that overdrive kicks in, you are cruising effortlessly even at highway speeds. It does not sound more than a normal P1800 and it looks original on the outside. This is the best Volvo P1800 I have ever driven.

History: This car was left standing after the first owner passed away in the early 90's. The second owner who bought the car completed a full restoration and put it into the condition it is today. It has covered approximately 20,000km since and is still today in fantastic condition.

SAAB 95 two-stroke 1965

SAAB 95 Longnose 1965 two stroke for sale

I heard someone say: It is more fun to drive a slow car fast than to drive a fast car slow. And there is a lot of truth in that. The SAAB two stroke cars are certainly not fast cars even if they have won some major races with their cars back in the days.

Exterior: This car had a full restoration and was painted in 1994, some of the chrome was redone and some is still original and in good condition. Tires are almost new, glass, rubber etc are in good condition. The paint is not perfect anymore, after all it is 23 years old, but still very representable.

Interior: Very nice original red cloth interior, nice chrome details and good carpets. All controls are working and it has very good heat. In the back, there is a foldable extra seat that the kids love to ride in. Sitting faced backwords looking back at the smoke clouds.

Engine: Equipped with a sport engine with triple carburettors giving you 55 wild horsepower it makes this old SAAB great fun to drive even when the entire family is riding along. With 4 speed gearbox, you are cruising in 100km/h comfortable without stress on the engine.

History: It changed hand four times since 1965 including dealers. It has pretty much every MOT certificate dating all the way back from the beginning and here you can follow the km reading. Also, what has been done the car over the last 10 years is in detail described.
